Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-06

By using QR Code Generator you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

QR Code Generator lets you create QR codes. Static codes carry their content inside the image and keep working forever without us. Dynamic codes and hosted pages depend on this service: their link redirects or opens a page we host, and they stop working if the service is unavailable, the code is paused or deleted, or your account is deleted.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password safe and for what is done with it. Give accurate information. You can delete your account at any time.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create and upload. You give us the permission needed to store it, show it on your pages and serve it to people who scan your codes. You promise that you have the right to publish it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • distribute malware, phishing or scams, or send people to such content;
  • publish illegal content, content that exploits minors, or content that is hateful, harassing or violates others’ privacy;
  • impersonate people or organisations, or mislead people about where a code leads;
  • attack, overload or try to get around the limits or security of the service, or scrape it in bulk.

Removal and suspension

We may pause, remove or refuse any code, page, upload or account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts the service or others at risk, with or without notice. To report abuse, contact the operator through makridis.dev.

Availability and changes

The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. We try to keep it running but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, limit or discontinue features. Keep your own copy of anything important and test every printed code before you rely on it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for what happens when a code is scanned (for example a broken link or a printed code that stops working), and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, which is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
